Pareja de sillones en pan de oro
Hemos restaurado esta pareja de sillones en pan de oro.
Estaban barnizados en caoba y la tapizeria estaba un poco antiquada.
Se han tapizado de nuevo y se
han acabado en pan de oro, luego los hemos envejecido y, por último, les hemos aplicado una capa de barniz de terminación a pistola. De esta manera, conseguimos dureza. Era lo que el cliente necesitaba en esta ocasión, ya que los sillones van a presidir una fantástica mesa de comedor, y, por tanto, van a tener mucho uso.

Preparando para aplicar pan de plata a un nuevo diseño de mueble. Preparig to apply silverleaf to a new design.
Os muestro unos videos aplicando pan de plata a las puertas de un mueble que he diseñado.
La idea de diseñar mis propias piezas no es nueva. Hace años que diseño muebles auxiliares para mi casa o para las casas de familiares y amigos.
Ahora lanzo el primer diseño a la venta.
Encargué el diseño a unos ebanistas de confianza: La Sierra, en Zaragoza. Seguidamente mis barnizadores, Barnizados Lahuerta, lograron el acabado que quería. No hay nada que ellos no consigan. Se trata de un craquelado que juega con dos tonos, marrón chocolate y café. Precioso! Parece tela, sin embargo es una mezcla de barnices. Es un proceso largo y costoso, pero ha merecido la pena esperar.
Ahora, yo, restauraydora, estoy dando mi toque con el pan de oro y plata. Os iré mostrando el proceso. Cuando esté acabado estará a la venta en mi tienda online: www.etsy.com/shop/restauraydora
I'll show you some videos applying silverleaf to the doors of a furniture designed by me. The idea of designing my own pieces of furnitures not new for me. I have designed my furniturefor ages, not only for me but also for my friends and relatives.
Now I show you my first desing to sell.
I ordered my design to my cabinetmaker: La Sierra, in Zaragoza. Then, my varnishers, Barnizados
Lahuerta, managed to get the finish that I wanted. They always get whatever they want, they are
really professionals. It's a mixture of two colours, chocolate and coffee. Beautiful! It looks like material, but it's varnish. It's an expensive and long process, but it has been worth waiting.
Now, me, restauraydora is applying my touch of silver and gold leaf. I'll show you all the process.

Oro comestible para esta Navidad
Decora tus platos, postres, copas de cava o gintonics con virutas de pan de oro.
Sorprende a tus invitados en Noche Buena, Navidad, Año Nuevo o en la festiva cena de Noche Vieja.
El pan de oro se utiliza en alta cocina desde la época egipcia. No produce ninguna alergia, la OMS permite su consumo, junto con otros metales como la plata. Incluso algunos científicos hablan de las propiedades antioxidantes del oro.
No tiene olor ni sabor y puedes consumir la cantidad que quieras. No se puede manipular con los dedos, se derretiría y desaparecería. Utiliza mejor unas pinzas o la punta de un cuchillo. Solo necesitas una pequeñísima cantidad para que tus platos brillen y luzcan festivos.

It's a vintage piece of furniture. It is 50 years old. It has been completely restoured scratched and lacquered in turquoise and goldleafed. Then, we applied a dark patine to look old and vintage.
It has been gold leafed and finished with the most traditional processes, as my father and grandfather taughted me.
